Rickshaws & Rivers: The Heartbeat of Dhaka

Upon arrival at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (DAC), our representative will meet you and transfer you to your hotel. After a brief rest, we will begin our exploration of Old Dhaka. We will visit the majestic Ahsan Manzil, also known as the Pink Palace, a former residential palace of the Nawab of Dhaka. Next, we will head to the chaotic but fascinating Sadarghat River Port to observe the riverine life of the city. We will take a traditional rickshaw ride through the narrow lanes of Shakhari Bazar and visit the beautifully tiled Star Mosque and the historic Armenian Church. Overnight stay in Dhaka.

After breakfast, we will visit the unfinished but historically significant Lalbagh Fort, a 17th-century Mughal fortress. We will then proceed to the Dhakeshwari National Temple, the most important Hindu place of worship in Bangladesh. In the afternoon, we will explore the modern side of the city. We will drive past the remarkable Jatiyo Sangsad Bhaban, the National Parliament House, an architectural masterpiece by Louis Kahn. We will also visit the Liberation War Museum to learn about the country's struggle for independence. The evening is free for you to explore the local markets or relax. Overnight stay in Dhaka.

After breakfast, you will have some free time for last-minute souvenir shopping or a final walk around the city. Our representative will then transfer you to Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (DAC) for your departure, filled with wonderful memories of your Dhaka holiday.
